Wonderful PSU at a very decent price. It runs quiet, modular cables help reduce clutter inside the case. I am using it now in a rig with SLI, 750W is still probably a little overkill but I like to have the power there just in case.


Corsair CMPSU-850HX Review by RDLG

This replaced my Coolermaster GX750 to run a Crossfire Sapphire 6970. It is pretty big and btw, Amazon may need to change the dimensions they have for this baby as they have at 10x10x7 inches!! It is big but not that big. I've a mid tower--snug-fit but it works. The cabling is wonderfully done--I am using the minimum number needed so it looks "cleaner" inside. It is pretty quiet...so far so good...I should have enough power to play around with for a while :)

I purchased this Corsair HX Professional Series 750 Watt unit to replace one that died on my new computer. It appears well constructed and sturdy. It comes with a bag full of power connectors, so you don't need to worry too much about having the right 6 Pin PCI Express to molex adapter. The unit runs quietly and gives me a healthy 750 Watts to supply my power hungry gaming PC:

System it is powering is the following:

Cyberpower PC with ASUS motherboard.
CPU is AMD Phenom II x 4 955 processor 3200Mhz quad core.
It has a power hungry video card (EVGA GTX 460) which requires two 6 Pin PCI-Express Power cables to supply it with power.
My computer's AZZA case has four cooling fans.
1 TB HD
DVD RW Discplayer
Running Windows 7 64 bit.

This is a quality PSU. I'd buy Corsair again with no hesitation.
